 Since 1999 the DJ's at DAWKona have been providing the "Fun and the Music" for wedding receptions, banquets, reunions and parties of all kinds. Known as "The Party People", we at DAWKona are convinced that early planning and our attention to details are necessary to ensure you that your affair will be one that is long remembered.       Our mission here at DAWKona is to help you establish a "reception plan" that is right for you. We offer you the benefit of our many wedding reception experiences. We assist you in establishing the sequence of events, music selection, and the general ambience of your wedding reception, whether it be traditional or non-traditional.

DAWKona coordinates your wedding reception so that your "special day" is worry free and you can enjoy family and friends during this special event. Our goal is for you to put your stamp of approval on the reception planner and to envision your reception happening.

We not only carry a  sizeable music library (over 30,000 songs) at which you get to choose the music you would like to play at your grand event! We also have a respectable library of traditional  music tunes (i.e. Hawaiian, religious,  etc.). 

Available to you upon request are dancers, party motivators, games, giveaways and a superb light show.  If you need music for the wedding ceremony or cocktail hour we have a special set up you can inquire about.  We also play easy listening music during the cocktail hour and dinner, so you and your guests can relax, socialize and eat.

Video Professionals:  With over 10  years of experience, our camera crew, led by myself, knows how to get the great shots that you'll love, while at the same time working well with your officiate.  Since 1996 we have had 100% happy brides.

 We use professional 3 chip cameras (HD too!) for extra high resolution and have been producing video products for over 10 years for numerous happy clients.  After reviewing this information, please call us at your convenience to discuss in detail how we may serve you.

Camera Equipment:  During the wedding ceremony, we will video tape with two professional 3 chip HD MiniDV cameras offering  broadcast quality video resolution.  

Editing Equipment:  Editing will be performed on a digital editing system featuring a multitude of effects and graphics which greatly enhance the video production.  By using a digital editing system, your master video tapes can be stored on our 2 Terrabyte server.  DVD Video format is standard. We will also create a MiniDV master for a back-up which will remain at DAWK for future copies.

We would like to start filming about an hour before your ceremony for some fun "Anticipation" moments. Filming continues throughout the evening. Both the wedding ceremony & reception will be edited into a tasteful and elegant DVD video.  Your selection of music from your special day can be used for a video montage, often the "First Dance" song is used. 

We edit four different segments of the video production:

• "Anticipation Hour", before ceremony
• Wedding Ceremony Taped with 2 Cameras
• Reception
• Photo Montage
• Highlight Video/DVD
• 5-hours of Consecutive Taping Time
